The Rosenberg Trio and especially Stochelo Rosenberg works in Paris on the soundtrack of the French biopic Django 44, a film based on the novel “Folles de Django” of Alexis Salatko, featuring his own compositions, improvisations and songs of Django Reinhardt. In September, the final numbers are recorded, after they were interrupted by a broken finger of Stochelo. “Django Melodies” with Reda Kateb and Cécile de France in the lead roles will be a feature film about the life of the French jazz guitarist. It’s set in the ’40s. The director is Etienne Comar. The premiere is expected in the spring of 2017. Etienne Comar has shot several scenes of his film “Django Melodies” at Aix-les-Bains.
